It is expected that this surgical procedures is done under general anesthesia in the outpatient department of the hospital or in a certified surgery center. A couple of drains are left in place for several weeks to drain any fluid that might accumulate. They will be removed several weeks after the procedure. After recovery from surgery, you will be discharged home with care instructions.
