Would you like to see facial wrinkles, discoloration and scarring be less visible, or even disappear? If you don’t want to undergo a facelift or are seeking a solution that outlasts fillers, you may want to consider undergoing a CO2 laser procedure in Lake Mary.
What is a CO2 Laser Procedure?
A CO2 laser uses small columns of fractionated energy to target zones deep in the skin (as opposed to the entire skin surface) to remove tissue in the areas of damage. By creating these small wounds, the surrounding healthy skin helps with healing, making new collagen and elastin. Fractional CO2 resurfacing is a one-time treatment performed with local anesthesia.

What can I expect from CO2 Laser Procedure?
You should notice mild improvement in wrinkles, discoloration and scarring, and your skin should feel tighter, as well.
How long is the recovery from CO2 Laser Procedure?
For many, the recovery is more uncomfortable than the procedure, and you’ll need to follow specific skin-care instructions. Immediately after your treatment, your skin will be raw and oozing, and probably covered in ointment and bandaged. Crusts will form over the first week, and the healing skin beneath will be pink and very sensitive. Although the skin heals within a month, redness can persist for about two or three months. Once you have fully healed you should notice a significant improvement in fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity and discoloration.
